I see you standing in the corner

your run-down, poverty-striken
Village
Dear, Little Ethiopian Boy,
Why do I see you digging into
Trash 'cause
you are starving
Oh, Little Ethiopian Boy,
How come nobody is helping you;
Tears in your eyes as you see
Your
Elder sister lying dead on the
Ground
Dear, Little Ethiopian Boy,
I see you and your friends
Starving in the
filthy streets
While at the same time certain
Socialites party all night
Oh, little Ethiopian Boy,
The time
will come when you
Will be taken away from
Your home coutry and brought
Into a new family with happiness
And
